Saint Nicholas School was founded in 1987 by James L. McKey and Margot T. Heard, who shared a vision for a school that would provide a classical and Montessori-inspired education. James L. McKey was instrumental in organizing the school, securing property, and building a campus that serves families in the Houston area. His dedication to education and commitment to the Catholic faith laid the foundation for what Saint Nicholas School is today. Margot T.
